That's one description of our house. Another one is more important to us; It's our home.

When we started designing and building our new custom home, we wanted to make sure that it was what we wanted, and something that made sense financially, but it seemed that everywhere we turned we were speaking to vendors who had a financial stake in our decision.  We built an incredible house, but we learned a tremendous amount about what to do (and what to avoid).

It's like having your own team of experts.

This site is about sharing what we thought, what we did, and what we learned. We built it to share what we learned that others can benefit from.

Attention to the smallest details on an epic scale.
